Yeah, so true story for me. My cousin and a friend of mine were up for literally two days playing this game with no breaks. We were much younger then and had some help at the time. Anyway, it was bad because any sound around me sounded like the damn motorcycle engine from the game. I played Metallica and the guitars were the engines, the phone would ring and it would distort into the sound of the engine from Road Rash, it was nuts. This must be why they tell you to take a break between plays. laughing

What do you all have?

I've only spent a little time on the game, so I can't say too much in regards to awesome moments. I guess it was cool to watch people getting squashed as I ran them over.

Oh damn. I may have an extra of it laying around. I'll take a look. You really must try this game. Best damn version of Road Rash out there, period.

Finally finished this game, level 5 is tough, save as much money as you can because without that fastest bike you'll struggle. The ending is a bit of an letdown but still a great game. (PC version is a bit better graphics wise but pretty much the same thing minus a couple of songs)

Which PC version are you playing? The last one I fiddled with was busted beyond belief. Super long load times for saving and schitzophrenic frame rates man. Bad juju. Shocked

Playing the dice budget version (only one i could get a hold of on Ebay), never had any problems though on win95/98. XP had a few glitches, you have to retype in your save game to save each time  as it wouldn't always work if you use the quick save feature and the game music would continue when you went back to the menu (at the same time as the menu music) so you would have to disable it. No problems with load times or graphics though.

Hmm. My buddy had the original release of this for PC and it was chalk full of glitches galore. Might be interresting to see the budget release to see what fixes were made.

I never played Road Rash either.  I just checked a video out of it on YouTube.

It looks a lot like the Mine Road minigame in Full Throttle.  Except that it has proper control.  Smile

I loved every part of Full Throttle, but it's not too much fun whipping bikers with chains and boards while trying to steer your own motorcycle with a mouse. Shocked

I do want to try out Road Rash.  It looks like fun.  I enjoyed the bike fight minigame in Full Throttle, but I'd enjoy it a lot more with a gamepad to control the motorcycle and weapons.  So, Road Rash would fit the bill nicely, and amp up the formula a whole bunch with traffic and police chases.

Yup. Easily one of the best 3DO romps out there.

i remember playing this game for so long that i thought my 3DO was going to catch fire. i had to turn it off because it wasn't displaying half the objects and colours on the screen. by the end i was just riding along a plain blue road with nothing to look at but the man on the bike.  Smile
