There are other cars on the track, although w/no collison detection they are just there for show it seems ...

I kinda picture Powerslide as someone taking a game w/Atari 2600 gameplay, and splashing a new coat of shiny graphics on it.  There is no real way to win a race (or even end it for that matter) and the challengers are just background decoration, but I still have fun just driving around for some reason.  I admit that I do have 3DO rose colored glasses at times, but next to Decathlon I probably spent the more time w/this than the more complete new releases.  Strange I guess ....

Anyway, worth playing just to picture the potential a full release would have had.

I feel you there, it's kind of the feeling I get with the Jaguar Space War 2000. It isn't finished, but really shows what the game could have been and makes me sad that it wasn't finished. Mind you, I know it was no Battlesophere, but it still would have been a cool release if completed, you can just tell by what is there.
