long before mario party or other similar games there was twisted (which trip hawkins says is still one of his favorite 3do games that he plays regularly in a recent interview) it's a game show thats supposed to be taking place inside of your tv , the prize for winning is getting out of the tv to " whatever the hell is on the other side of the screen" . twisted can be played by up to 4 people . the set of the gameshow is a large spiral staircase made out of platforms , once you roll the "cyber die" you get a number and move that many spaces up the stairs . yellow platforms are challenge squares where you play a game , red squares are lose a turn , green squares are roll again , and there's also the wheel of torture squares where you're trapped in a huge spinning wheel untill you can line up 3 matching jewls spinning around the wheel (you stay on this untill you can finally get off) . the games are mostly picture slider puzzles , match games , and trivia , the kind of stuff you'd expect from a game show game . all of the actors in the game are fmv except for one "mr fez" who's actually a pez candy dispenser with a fez hat on . if you have a bunch of controllers and some friends that don't roll their eyes at you when you suggest you play some 3do games then try this game , i have yet to meet anyone that doesn't love it . _________________ I Rock more by 9am than most people do all day |

Me too! In fact next to Mario Kart this is probably the best party game I've ever played w/my friends.
This is my #1 3DO game ever btw. |

Zhandost also beat Wii play to the punch by packing a free contorller w/the game
Have you played Station Invasion? It is very similar in style to Twisted & Zhandost, but is geared for younger players (12 and under I think) Still cool for what it is. |
