Does anyone know how the later model M2 was as a dvd player? I've never owned one, and was curious. Did it have any unique features like zoom or anything?
Of course, I suppose it's possible that anyone who owns a unit has never unboxed it and wouldn't know ... |

| Hmmm ... curious. I've always heard that the 1st model FZ-21S didn't, but the FZ-35S did. What happens when you pop a dvd into it? Blank screen? |

| How about a vcd? Have you tried running any vcd movies? I'm all but certain M2 will run a video cd. |

| Why would you use a DVD player and not include the codecs for DVD-Video? It seems like a waste for a technology (M2) that was barely even used  |

Good question ... sadly, like most M2 inquiries, we may never know. |
