I love the Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move games. Has anybody here played the 3DO version? How does it play? I hope to add this to my 3DO collection at some point  Razz

Bust a move 3DO is great!  I'd go so far as to say that it's in my top ten favorite 3DO games ever!

Check out my specific thoughts on it ...

I have a couple other versions of this game too, one for DS & the other for Xbox.  Both are great fun, but 3DO is still my fav!

I didn't realize Micro Cabin ported it to the 3DO! They were a pretty big Japanese softhouse back when the PC-Engine was huge (and the TG-16 was still alive in the US). They did pretty good work from my personal experience with their games. I think they may have been an pretty active Japanese 3DO developer too.

Bust A Move/Puzzle Bobble on the 3DO is an excellent port man. I have it and love it.

I should've mentioned them specifically by name in my recent review ...

Lucienne’s Quest, brought to us by the same team who made the great Guardian War, is a well made rpg that fans of the genre (and even some non-fans) should find quite entertaining.

They were very good to 3DO fans! Very Happy

The music is great, I especially like the 3DO mix of the NeoGeo original track. I definately need to get this one :P

Yeah, to be honest with you, the game rocks on the 3DO but was actually quite sad as a release for the Neo Geo CD since the 3DO version burns it up. No slowdown and the music kills it. Really sad, when you think about it since it was built on the Neo Geo hardware specifically.

It's rather irritating that they never released an AES version of Bust a Move..
