Since I just posted a review of Lucienne's Quest I thought I'd get some opinions on the game. What do you think? Better than Guardian War, worse, or about the same?
Both excellent games, but Guardian War gets my nod. Both have great combat & music, but Guardain Wars graphics are a sight to behold! Also much more of a challenge than Lucienne's Quest, which was too easy. Two big reasons why I hold Guardian War in such high regard, and why I think it's not just the better rpg, but one of 3DO's best games period!

| Truthfully, for me it is Guardian War. I just enjoy the entire aspect of that game and it feels much more fulfilling as an RPG for me. The stratefy side of things was a bit nicer as well and the game just seems more difficult and longer than Lucienne's Quest was. Not to say that L.Q. was a bad game, but Guardian War is king hands down. |

| doesn't help that Lucienne's Quest is extremely hard to find compared to Guardian War which is quite common :/ |

True, Guardian War used to be one of the most frequent games on Ebay ... multiple listings that usually sold for less than $5 (not sure if that is still the case)
I bought a "promo" copy of Luciennes Quest for quite cheap ... I think it is nothing more than a burned disc myself. Oh well, it plays fine. |
