| Can't wait for this one. The Eastern European character ought to give the game some variety compared to the other games in the series. |

| I don't know. I really have never been a GTA fan after the second game. I really wasn't into the whole 3D thing. |

I'm mildly curious about 4. Vice City and San Andreas didn't really interest me, but 4 looks to be a real nice sequel for the next generation. _________________ www.vgtheory.com |

| I could not get enough of Vice City for the pc. I think that San Andreas was ok. I wonder how long pc fans will have to wait for GTA4. |

Doesn't bother me at all, I might suggest it's a good idea though as everyone and their mother is going to be in a Halo 3 haze for quite some time. |

Other than the cosmetic changes (graphics, next gen effects) i can't really see what they can bring into this what hasn't already been done, hope i am wrong cause i am also looking forward to this.
Is there to be a PC version for this? If so i best put the house up for sale cause sys requirements for next gen games are really hammering my PC and new ones are not getting cheaper. |

I hate Windows Vista, so I really see no reason for a new PC at this time. |

Yeah, I had a huge smile on my face when I read about that.
The funny thing is, it will prove Jack Thompson wrong about video game players as the players will be diverting their anger onto the video game representation rather than the actual person.
Come to think of it, that's probably the real reason Jack Thompson wants that scenario removed from the game. |

i'm actually the reverse , i didn't like the original ones , it wasn't until gta3 that i got interested . but i mainly play them on the pc and i like modding them to have cars i like . i probably play san andreas the most but thats because of mta , a program that makes it an online game . tho it's more of a racing thing , people built maps with all sorts of little pathways just wide enough for your car , and little obsticle courses that you have to get thru . and the whole time everyone else is trying to push you off . if you make it to the end first you get the helicopter with the machine guns and missles and you have to go take out everyone else thats still alive . it's very addictive .
my friend just got gta 4 on the 360 and i've been playing alot of that , it's pretty fun and graphics wise blows all the other gta games out of the water , but i definately don't like what they did with the driving . the only way not to slam into everything is to drive around like a grandma , i was used to san andreas and the rest where you could drive around at 150mph and actually make turns . i realize it's a more realistic approach at driving but i'm not really trying to play videogames to keep a close grasp on reality so super accurate handling isn't my thing . it's still a fun game . _________________ I Rock more by 9am than most people do all day |

Just finished it and i have to say i was very disappointed, the graphics, although not as good as they originally made them out to be in the trailers are nice, but there is no originality in the game at all. The controls, driving, walking and shooting are all buggy. The physics are awkward while driving. The cameras have issues. The missions are bland. The story doesn't grip or hook you and the characters have no interest. The humour of the previous series is gone. By the end it just felt like a chore. I have just started playing Liberty City Stories on the PS2 and am enjoying it much more, so what does that say ?
It's still a good enough game, just nowhere near as good as all the bribed reviewers and hype made us believe. |
