| Seriously now all, this is a tough one for me, especially because I am a huge Atari Jaguar fan also. I actually love all three systems that came out around the same span as I am into Jaguar, 3DO and 32-X, but really, I always hear from some of you that the Jaguar games are lacking textures and the like. Whe5re are the heavy Poly games on the 3DO that have textured Polygons? As for the Jaguar being devoid of texturing, you have to remember that the Jaguar is known to heavily use Gouraud shading instead of texturing because it looks nicer. Alot of the 3DO games that I have seen with high use of Polygons have low textures as well unless they rely heavily on FMV technology like Star Blade. Just asking is all. |

| Star Fighter had some impressive 3D to it especially the ability to leave the atmosphere in real time. Though this game wasn't exclusive to the 3DO :/ as it was also later released on the Saturn (I think the PSX also). |

Well, the obvious one is Need for Speed, I think. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to try a lot of the better games for the system, but I do have NFS. _________________ www.vgtheory.com |

| I always felt that Slam 'N Jam was a great showcase for the 3DO. The gameplay, music, sound, and graphics were superior for its time IMO. |

| I think bladeforce and killing time are the best examples of 3DO 3d power... |

Nice chouces there guys. Killing Time is easily one of my all time favorites on the system DSweet FPS game. I remember that the clowns used to freak me out back in the day! |

It doesn't use polygons, so yeah, I guess you would be right. Still a great game though! |

Bladeforce and Battlesport would be my nominations.
The Alone in Dark series was a pretty decent poly pusher (for the time anyway). |

How about Bladeforce and Foes of Ali?
Never was very good at Bladeforce. Too bad. I liked the intro. |

| Blaseforce is an awesome game. I play the Hell out of it all the time. Lots of fun to be had. The thing I hate about ot though is that the game can seem too big. I still can't believe the size of the levels. |

| Star Fighter is another good one. The 3DO version arguably runs better then the later Playstation version, but that could be attributed to lazy porting/development. |

Hm, I know someones gonna hate me for saying this but isn't Defcon 5 one of the most clean and best looking games on 3DO? It was the only game I ever played in which the FMV segments fit like puzzle pieces into the game and you didn't feel like it was getting shoved down your throat.
P.S. This is my first post on 3DOManiac, Rock on 3DO! |

Interresting look at things. I have actually never played Defcon 5 for the 3DO. I actually knew quite a few people that did enjoy the game when it came out though. I remember picking up the Playstation version later on and really hating it though. I think I will try and track down the 3DO one though as I have heard that it was the better version. Welcome, by the way. |

Would probably have to be Need 4 Speed, Blade Force or Starfighter as the majority weren't true 3d and tended to use a lot of animated bitmaps.
Lucienne's quest used 3d in the fight sequences but can't remember if the characters were. What about Crash & burn again 3d but were the cars? |
