There aren't many of them, but these four were deep into development before M2 was scrapped. Clayfighter lived on (in part) thanks to the N64, and D2 lived on in name only. IMSA & Power Crystal seemed to have vanished alltogether.
Having seen the pics in Next Gen mag, I think Power Crystal could helped a moderately successful M2 launch. Rpgs were picking up in popularity, and the game looked pretty sweet. If an M2 game ever surfaced, I'd hope it was this one. Plus, it would offer the most play time.
Runner up would be the sharp looking IMSA racing game. |

| Two things that crossed my mind about D2 were length & replay value. I think it might have been limited in both. Certainly would have had enough flash for a launch title though, and probably would have kept M2 gamers satisfied till the next wave of games hit. |

There's a video of ISMA Racing on Youtube. I'm still waiting for supposed in-game footage of D2. _________________ www.vgtheory.com |

Very early D2 'in-game' footage. No collision detection, very small area, but it gives an idea of how the final game would have looked. Fascinating stuff. I wonder how far it got before the game was canned...
