Yep, Omf over at JSII has finally released the cartridge edition of Painter (a game kinda like Qix) for the Atari Jaguar. Why buy this if you already have the CD version? Well it has alot of stuff the CD version does not, including 50+ level designed by members of the jag community and a EEPROM save feature built into the cart by Tursi.
The Special Edition release of 20 was sold out in a matter of 2 hours crazy. Anyways, Omf will be selling standard editions in the coming month (since he ordered parts for B&C it could be a month before he even gets what he's ordered )
You can find the game on JSII, and I can tell you it's definitely a must have.
Any idea of specific differences between the standard & special editions? Is the regular one just a port of the cd?
The special edition has additional level, about 6-8 I belive but the standard has a total of 280 levels including the original and jagfest level in addition to 50+ new levels created by members of the JSII community. It's alot of game even if you don't get the Special Edition.
