BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - A consortium led by China Telecom Co, the parent of Hong Kong-listed China Telecom Co ltd, has joined a tender for a fixed line service license in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi telecom regulator said in a statement on its website.
Other consortia, bidding with local partners, include Qatar Telecommunications Co, Hong Kong's PCCW, and Korea Telecom (nyse: KTC - news - people ), the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) said.
