One reason Jack may not want to see Aaron is because he is Christian's son. In other words IF Christian is a big part of the Island (i.e. Christian is Jacob) That means Aaron is potentialy one "special" boy (insert "Rosemary's Baby" reference.) But more importantly to Jack is what does this lineage mean to Jack? Is he a potential "Jacob" too? Is this "power" hereditary? Maybe seeing Aaron reminds him of his fate?
Twilight Zone afterthought = Aaron is Christian incarnate.

Wow, very nice thought! I hadn't connected all the dots concerning Aaron's relation to Jack and how that might effect the Kate flashfoward. Nice!

I should have said Aaron is Christian's "Grandson," presuming Claire is his daughter as speculated. |

It's not really speculation, Christian is Claire's dad, we found it out in Par Avion. So, Christian can't be Aaron's dad, that's kinda creepy  |
