This is not my catch.
Check out the picture of Ms. Hawking with Brother Campbell.
(The badly photoshoped one) about half way down on the link....

Look at the background - its the Oxford university physics department
where Desmond meets with Dan.
Intruiging or what ???
Maybe Desmond was purposely targeted because of his 'time travelling'
abilities. |

I heard some discussion on this on The Transmission podcast.
Apparently they used the same building as a shoot location for both the university and the monastry as it's the only one avaliable that looks old enough to be a Scottish monastry and Oxford University.
Don't think there is anything in it.

I gotta believe this is a production error due to a lack of choices in Hawaii ...
But then again, it could link Ms. Hawking & Brotha Campbell to Daniel pre-1996 (@ Oxford). And since they are the "Time Guardians" maybe one of Daniel's experiments in time-travel places him in the past & they are there to "course correct" Daniel.
That's just a wild theory ... My logical vote is for production error.

I will also go with a production error but that backgroud picture
really had no need to be a location on Hawaii.They could've used
any church/monestary picture for that shot. |
