Is Walt at the Temple? I don't think so, in Island time he isn't there, he's with Michael. But at some point in the future Ben abducts Walt AGAIN and Michael plays the role of mole/saboteur AGAIN to get back Michael. His fate it seems is to be Ben's unwilling agent in an awful cycle. I'm thinking that a number of people aren't dead in flash forwards, but were stranded on the island. Claire, Jin, and Walt would be my first guesses. Maybe Desmond and Juliette as well. The 6 can't figure out how to get back or have a compelling reason not to go back.
Then also, some may have an alternate way off the island, like Ben.
