· Quote

Do you guys know about a movie Fisher Stevens, (Minkowski), co-starred in back in 85' called, "My Science Project"?  In the movie, he and a fellow high school buddy discover a device from a downed alien space craft which, when triggered, alters space and time.  The first time it's inadvertantly activated, time speeds ahead 4 hours without Fisher and his buddy even realizing it.  It's later discovered that the device gathers/absorbs power from elctrical equipment.  At the climax of the movie, someone hooks the device directly into an electrical outlet causing its power to increase exponentially.  As a result; people from the distant past and future are sucked into the present.  A gladiator, ancient Egyptians, part of a World War II battlefield, a tyrannosaurus rex, and a group of deformed creatures from an apocolyptic future are among several of the types of characters that the device was capable of drawing into the present.

Thought you guys might want to know about this little tid-bit.

Yes, I do remember that movie ...

My Science Project was out around the same time as 2 other 80's "Geek" movies in the same vein, Weird Science & Real Genius

Funny enough; If you type on "My science Project" on amazon.com. it also brings up those two movies plus a handful of other "sciencey" 80's films.
