@ Chris
I see what you're saying. However, I do think it is important to note that Ben seemingly did provide Michael with a legitimate way to get off the island. It shows that regardless of his motives, in this instance he did keep his word. I have not doubt his reasoning was anything but benevolent and most assuredly self-serving.
Still, he stayed true to his promise. _________________ "I dust a bit...in addition, I am at the moment writing a lengthy indictment against our century. When my brain begins to reel from my literary labors, I make an occasional cheese dip."

Libby could very well be a ghost, after all, Miles saw right through Kevin Johnson, didn't he? If that is actually what Miles does.
Those are definately the Freighties, and they're after a bargaining chip. |

ever think that Ben set up the deaths of Karl and Danielle to remove them from Alex so Ben could have her all to himself? Afterall, we have seen quite the possessive side of Ben as of late.
Really disappointed by the death of Danielle (if she is in fact dead).
After the episode finished, I was left with saying "...that was it??". Dunno, not totally gelling with this episode. |

@nnnik
Someone mentioned that in another thread and it's crossed my mind too. It is certainly possible, but to me it felt as if it was done by Widmore's crew and it's unlikely Ben would want Alex harmed or captured so i doubt he sent them in harms way.
As for Danielle's death I am pretty sure we'll be seeing plenty of her in flashbacks the next two years. _________________ Jackie |

So can we all agree that Aaron is one of the Oceanic 6 finally? Thank goodness, I was worried the blue in my face might stick.
I know this is slightly less related, but in the flash forwards we've been getting a lot of visions of the dead from the island. Libby being the most recent. I think we can surely confirm that Charlie was manifested by the Island to talk to Hurley.
I know some people we rake up the fact that Charlie slaps Hurley to prove he's there, but I always took that to be a writers joke harking back to when Dave slapped Hurley to prove he was real...
I gotta believe now though that Ben is the man in the coffin. Any takers on that? _________________ www.darkhabits.com |

Also: Did Michael hear the whispers just prior to seeing Libby in the engine room.
If so: Is there and Audio capture of it? _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |

Is future Sayid = present Michael?
In other words, does Ben now have the same emotional extortive powers over Sayid as he did Michael?
And if so, Did Sayid's ratting out of Michael set future Sayid up to be Ben's attack dog. That is, had Sayid let Michael finish his job, would future Sayid be on a leash? _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |

There were a few whispered words, and I thought I heard part of the Mama Cass song that was playing on the car radio. _________________ Joop© |

@ Scott H,
I think with the "confirmation" by DL/CC on the most recent OLP, I think we can call this mystery solved ... The "O6" are Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sayid, Aaron, & Sun.
I am chalking up Jack's testimony in "Eggtown" (8 survivors, 2 died ...) to a continuity error on the part of the writers, or maybe more of a narrative oversight. _________________ "Destiny is a fickle bitch!" - Benjamin Linus |
