When they show the deck of the freightor in the flashback (prior to Naomi leaving for the Island), I only see 1 helicopter ... Shouldn't there be 2? Frank's 'copter & the one that takes Naomi to the Island & then crashes in the water.
Am I missing something? Is there some flaw in my logic?

i would assume it is a camera angle thing or simply one of them was in the air looking around at that moment. |

So the second helicopter was "off-screen" ... hmmmmm hhhaaaahhh
Totally acceptable, but kinda a weak explanation, imho ... Also, how do you fit 2 helicopters on that freighter? There is only 1 landing pad & the ship is not big enough to fit 2 'copters.

Actually, we saw a helicopter drop Naomi off, we never saw that helicopter land. She said she bailed out, but Frank probably returned just fine. |

well i think we saw it crash in Desmond's vision, and a helicopter appeared crash when Naomi showed up, but i remember Sayid asking them if they actually saw the helicopter and they said or motioned no.
and if i remember correctly the helicopter appeared to crash quite a distance off shore but Naomi landed a fair way into the island. almost too far away from the crash to be carried by parachute. |

Actually, in the scene with Lapidus and Michael, you can see the rotor from the second chopper. |
