I want to compile a list of things the writers of Lost need to address before the show ends. I'll start with a few that are big for me, lets hear what else people want to know before the end of the show...
My Loose Ends
1. What the Swan Hatch actually did
2. How Rosseau's crew ended up on the Island and what happened
3. Who the "original" inhabitants of the Island are (Ageless Alpert question)
4. Jacob
5. Adam and Eve
I'm sure there is more, but to start let me know what you think of those, let's hear yours and I'll start compiling a list here at the top of this thread
6. 4 Toed Statue
7. The Numbers (I know they've been explained, but I still expect them to address them on the show, screw the arg)
8. The food drop season 2
9. What the story is regarding the character connections and how they ended up on Flight 815 together

You two beat me to a few burning questions, but here are some that I and another teacher at my school have:
11. What’s the deal with the “magic box”? How does it work, who has access to it, etc.
12. How did The Black Rock end up in the middle of the island? What happened to its crew?
13. What is Alex’s story? Who is her father? How did she end up with Ben? [I’d also like to know about Karl. He is young, but he does not seem to have any family of any kind sticking up for him. What happened to them? How did he end up working against Ben?]
14. What happened to Annie? Is she the woman in the portrait?
15. Why does the island rapidly heal some (Locke’s legs, Jin’s infertility, other people’s general injuries) and injury or slowly heal others (Ben’s tumor, Nikki and Paolo’s paralysis)?
16. What’s up with the smoke monster? Why can’t it pass The Others’ fence?
17. What’s with the polar bears? What was Dharma doing with them? How did they die? How did one get to into a desert? Why were all those skeletons in the cave where the polar bear attacked? (I think it was Locke rescuing Eko, but I’m a little fuzzy on that one.) _________________ Go Bolts!
im not sure if it has been addressed or not but i think the skeletons in the cave are presumably the dharma workers remains after the purge. Also Nikki and paolo's paralysis was caused by a spider, maybe the island made the spiders kill parlyse them but we'll never know for sure on that one i fear.
Would really like to know more about this magic box thats mentioned in the list above though, and the same goes for the black rock. _________________ 108
Not sure where, but I read the producers have indicated the Hatch implosion won't be revisited. They may have mentioned it on the podcast...
In any case, I wonder just how many mysteries won't be 'revisited' or explained in any detail? i think the skeletons are from the black rock survivors. the foot is from atlantis time- the island is obviously volcanic, thusly earthquake country.
the french chick killed everyone from her ship."disease". that connection needs to be explained via desmond and claire taking that crap.
the coordinates are going to have to be explained (is it really connected to the black rock?) as is the comments between ben when he says he can't kill penny's daddy. does pen's dad have another portal? why does penny's daddy consider himself the owner? of dharma? is he delivering the food? then why does abaddon grill hugo?
there is a connection with pen's dad and mr. abaddon? between pen's dad and all the characters on the plane?
why is charlie visiting ? charlie could have just as easily closed the door on the other side, being with desmond, after seeing the russian with the grenade. that didn't ring true. he made it true. why did he have a haircut visiting hugo?
why is christian visiting his son? heaven does not allow this. medically jack is psychotic. all six are suffering post- traumatic stress disorder. aaron should be exhibiting signs too.
the polar bear question could be their intelligence is linked to the darma group as their insignia, as the peacock was once the roman emperor's and now is the orthodox metropolitan's.
claire's clarvoyant guy needs to explain how he knew, his daughter knew, their links to the island. hugo might be right -they are already dead. the button can't be pushed again to reset time.
the whole how does ben time travel to the desert- through the cabin? he never tells the truth about anything- what a CREEP.
why does charlotte know korean?
when do we get to see the temple with everyone safe, whom are missing or 'dead'. there is obviously an island portal. desmond's not pushing caused the portal to open for the airliner- why didn't ben receive a telephone coded message? or be told by jacob, who seemed to be replacing ben with john, a murderer, or hugo, a pacifist. why?
is jacob from the black rock? or from the atlantis (4toed foot) bloodline? is jacob the power? karl didn't act so. why did the "island" kill him and his girl and her mother- how bittersweet can you get? that's likeromeo and juliet being killed by paris by his droit de seigneur.
and why are the murderous crew still walking across the island after the black monster attack? is ben's cave it's lair? what kind of complex is under the grounds? a civilization? remember the ? door?
how is michael's son reentering the story- ben said "we got more than we bargained for...".
i have 4 years of holes to question. and i could rant about jack shaving his chest-ugh. lost needs a cheese police.
