I read in the next episode that jack collapses on the beach and juliet and kate must work together to save him, it plays a role in the story line alright but not a major one, probably just portrays how the two women really feel about him. Its meant to show that juliet really does love him even though some people dont trust her. The next episode is Jack Centric also but sources say the only woman from the island in his life in the future is Kate.
Juliet says that Jacks appendix has burst and she and Kate must save him. Maybe this is how Jack gets off the island -- he is rushed to the freighter for surgery --- no hang on why would the freightees do that they'd just let him die. I assume Kate and Jules do the op in the same surgery that Jack fixed Ben in -- but that's on the other island so how would they get him there ? Must just do it on the beach then I suppose.

it will bring to light the rea feelings of these woman. but i dont trust julia. period. she is a serious pawn for ben. her goal is to get off the island and she will do what it takes to do it. just like the research to get the rat pregeant.. i think she has fertility issues. but her sister became a willing subject with little risk, because of her cancer. her ex even brought that up. claire and the inplant. i say the that the meds worked on claire, and but some reason not those that stay on the island for a long time. guess this a different thread for that, but the whole oh jack is ill thing, will allow everyone to show thier true colors.

I think this is TBTP set-up for Jack to get off-Island ...
As I've stated previously, I could not figure out how Jack got off-Island because we all know he would never willingly or knowingly leave any of the Losties behind on the Island. But if the freightees want Jack (and everyone) else dead (or at least don't care if they live or die) why would they help Jack by sending him to the boat ?

I read somewhere that darlton announced that the freighties ARENT the ones that do the rescuing. Therefore i think its either Penny that rescues the people or they get off the island the same way ben did in this episode. which in my theory is by using the new station to teleport off the island. Sayid and desmond dont look like they're gonna get back onto the island so therefore, ive reason to believe either something goes wrong on the boat or desmond is on the outside world too
