Could Sawyer be the one who makes the connection between Jack
and Claire.
Sawyer has met Christian and knows he's Jacks father.So at some
point he might see Christian on the island - talk to Claire and he
puts 2 and 2 together. |

I'd say sawyer will make his decision to stay on the island because he wants to find claire as he is starting to feel protective of her.
He'll ask kate to look after aaron until they get off the island. Therefore sawyers storyline for season five will involve him searching for claire and uncovering the mystery of her disappearance, while quite possibly running into christian sheppard in the process as she did follow him into the jungle.

Could be, but then how does that information (about the connection between J and C) get back to Jack, who is off-island? Or do you mean, Brewski, that they will still be on island for some or all of season 5? Geesh, this is the longest rescue ever. Gilligan and crew seemed to have done it faster.

I was thinking that perhaps jack could find medical records relating his father to claire and thus finding out she's his sister. Im also thinking that the island could communicate to jack on the outside world in the form of sheppard and tell jack that claire is his sister. Im not really sure. i'd love to see jack and claire face to face after discovering that they're brother and sister, that'd be a great scene, but i dont even think we'll see that till either the end of season 5 or during the final season.
Lol yeah its a pretty slow rescue alright, the only people making any headway are a shoddy group of mercenaries lol. |

I forgot about the medical records, especially those thick files Patchy worked up on all the survivors. Those must be full of interesting information. Good idea.
