So in this episode we witnessed the numerous ways in which Locke was guided to the island and missing out - a lot of which I interpreted as Locke running from his destiny and who he truly is. He is really the Island Holy Man (vial of sand, compass, science camp, gets stuffed into lockers) but insists on viewing himself as a strong physical hunter (is attracted to the knife, insists he likes sports, hunting, etc.)
Ew.com has an great article theorizing that since Locke repeatedly rebuffed attempts to get him to the island, the universe "course-corrected" and got Ben to the island. Interesting theory!
Ben said he led the others sometimes. Did Jacob or Alpert supercede him sometimes? Or someone entirely new?
Claire is dead - I'm convinced. She is usually so sweet and has a sort of a lost dog look on her face and is always wth Aaron. The person in this episode was creepy and seemed to be in on a lot of the island's secrets - and wasn't fazed by Aaron's absence. Is he being sent on his way to Kate?
