This is from the wiki entry on Casimir Effect... most of it is a boring confusing entry for dumb guys like me - but this stood out:
"Exotic matter with negative energy density is required to stabilize a wormhole.[15]"
I'd have to go back to the orientation film scene...but didn't been talk about building the station next to 'exotic matter' or 'negative energy' or something?
so it looks like we may most definitely be looking at a wormhole situation |
