I'm not sure if any of you have read "Good Omens" by Terry Prachett and Neil Gaiman, but every time I hear the hollow earth theory I think of a scene where the kid explains how Tibetan monks know everything is that they have tunnels all over the earth. They just use them to go places and eavesdrop.
It has really nothing to do with the theory, but I can't help but think of that when I hear "hollow earth." I just picture Tibetan monks popping up like prairie dogs on the island. _________________ "I don't give a damn for a man who can only spell a word one way." - Mark Twain |

Good catch Fangirl...great book, perfect for the religious cynic looking for a good laugh. _________________ "I dust a bit...in addition, I am at the moment writing a lengthy indictment against our century. When my brain begins to reel from my literary labors, I make an occasional cheese dip."
