It's there a way to report message board abuse?
In one of my current subscribed threads someone recently made a post that was highly inappropriate to the discussion and it was done by "Guest."

Not yet. But,...maybe here.
The Trolls always call themselves "Guest". Hopefully there are enough moderators "cruising around" that can dispense with this pathetic"wit".

I think the ability for 'Guests'to post should be disabled.
It should be that if you want to post you have to register and if you piss about you get banned, simple as. |

It has appeared at least twice. I have deleted it, as far as I can tell. cerberus has respoded to it is in "Sayids doodle" which I think in "The Economist".
I have not deleted anymore out of respect for cerberus and Mark B who have responded in a meaningful way.

Trolls will happen even of you make them sign up.
I could sign-up as Mark C. post a bunch of crap get kicked off then re-sign on as Mark D if I really wanted to.
I don't know if there is away to tell which computer people post from (ip address or whatever) but to really block someone you need to find out that and block it. Even then if they really want to they could use internet cafes or whatever and they could continue but it would be much more time consuming.

Jack,
Can you please add moderators to the most recent 3 Episode folders (Ep4 thru Ep6)?
Someone placed an inappropriate post in the folder, but none of the regulars seem to have moderator permissions for any of the folders after Ep3.

If there is a comment in question, PM a mod with the thread and quote the comment. If it is necessary to remove it then the mod can work that out.

I'll be happy to delete them as well.
I still think it's a good idea to disable guests from posting...any deterrent might be too much effort for the folks who post this stuff.
