This thread is dedicated to discussion of Steinbecks first attempt at the "play-novella" prose. Of Mice and Men is a cultural classic with a few mentions in lost.

I personally love this story in part because of its ability to survive much criticism and emerge more resonate and powerful and also because I loved the Looney Tunes parodies. The Tragic ending is surprising and heart wrenching when you first read it. I recommend this short novel (appx 100 pages) to any fan of literature and especially one of Lost as well.
