Any objections to deleting "casting sunday afternoon" (by matt jones) thread in "Fanfare/Speculation"? _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |

I would actually just move it under the "Lostcasters" folder (rather than outright deletion). |

I think deleting it would be cleaner and less confusing since the "topic" has come and gone. _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |

That's fine (for this case)! I was speaking more in general terms ... |

I think Jackedup should weigh in on this...it's very possible at some point a deletion could inadvertently step on someone's toes...
Personally, I think deleting old threads that are unlikely to produce further discussion or be informative to newcomers is acceptable. _________________ "I dust a bit...in addition, I am at the moment writing a lengthy indictment against our century. This is what I would like to avoid at all costs ... Thus, my original thought to move it into a "more suitable" folder. |

Your point is well taken. That's why asked Jacked... to open up this "topic" so we can get some guidance as to how to "sweep out' the forum, but still keep pertinent thoughts alive. Because, as we've seen old ideas/lines will reappear,i.e. Raised by Another. _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |

I did delete the "casting" thread. I'm also going to start deleting some of my threads that seem dead rather than dormant, starting with "numbers" in fanfare/speculation.
I'll wait a couple of days. _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |

Great. No one seems to care. Numbers is gone. I'm going to find others to dump too. _________________ "Sensitivity?….WHO CARES"- jg |
