Hey does anyone here play Dark Age?
I think alot of classic battletech people have some (or alot) of animosity towards it maybe because it dilutes their player base, being as both games have much in common with each other.
They both have some pros and cons, but it seems like Dark Age is just much more accessable to new players than cb is. I kinda like the dodgy industrial and civilian mechs aswell  . Although, if i ever get into dark age again, i will definatly use the cb grid system. It solves alot of the problems i had with dark age by taking the anoying imprecision out of movement and combat.
the only other bad thing i've found with dark age is that the vehicals can overshadow the mechs alot of the time, which is kinda stupid for a battletech game.
what do you guys think?

It may not be as detailed as CBT but it's quick and it's fun.
If you look at the game now just about all of the factories are re-tooled for combat specific mechs, no more new ICE mechs. |
