The last couple days, I get this message on programs that require alot of CPU usage: "Avp.exe stopped working" I have plenty of memory and space on my computer and have run these high CPU usage programs before. Nothing extra/new is running in the background. I heard avp.exe is associated with Kaspersky. I can't find Kaspersky on my computer, so I can't delete it. Anyone know how to get rid of: "avp.exe stopped running" errors AND/OR How to delete Kaspersky? I ran HiJackThis (no problems) and scanned everything. I'm on Vista 32 bit.
