Alright guys,
I'm still not advanced enough in my mechanical abilities to get the other Z in a consitently running condition, and it's starting to eat at me. The car will start with a jump, I've got the alternator, and I just got some good sized checks in so I have a little cash for any other parts we'll need. I want to have it good to go in the next week or so and I'll take any help I can get. Let's get her running so I can be a part of cruises and running at the track. I'm ready to take this thing seriously and get it running good as is, then we'll look into upraging it as we go. |

Yeah... we're just gonna clean up the L28 motor. We'll get the car running good, then look into beefing it up and swapping things.
Saturday works great, and sunday will work til about 5... then i have my step-moms birthday. |

be sure you baby if for a while rings are gonna have to reseat and wouldn't hurt to use a good oil flush treatment such as stp or engine restore after oil changes every 1000 miles till you know for sure everything is cleaned up inside. |

rings don't ever "unseat" take it out and give it hell. when something breaks fix it..that means it was a weak link anyway. And I would like to hear danny's opnions on that engine treatment stuff...Mr ACES!
Danny just set a day and say...I'm going to be working on my car...free food and beer (after the work or Wookiee will start putting banjo bolts that require 15 foot lbs. in with air tools!) What ever day you pick we will make it.. Take a few short nights or afternoons and it will be done with help. Just pick when and post it on the site. |
