I believe the red top has more cold cranking amps. That's what I have... The yellow is more for cars with a big systems. That put alot of draw on the battery. _________________ -Dave..."fast, reliable, or cheap...pick two" |

Yea the Yellow Top is deep cycle battery and can handle more full-drain's and still preserve battery life. _________________ Speedin from Sweden |

ya the red top does have more cca, and yes the yellow is more geared for systems, i'm kinda leaning towards the yellow top because of my pop up dvd player, because really i don't need more cca to turn my 4 banger over but my options are still open somewhat i need to get it running so i can take it to AMS to get dyno tuned |

i would go with the yellow. i think it has like a reserve capacity as well so u can still start your car after a full-drain, which is useful if you were to leave your stereo/headlights on and drain your battery. This also wont damage the battery unlike other batteries it was meant for full drains, but will be fine for eveyday operation as well _________________ Speedin from Sweden |

Let me know when, measure your old battery and go on advancedautoparts.com and find the part # of the one you want.. _________________ -Dave..."fast, reliable, or cheap...pick two" |
