This is a very smart and preventive mod since stock its basically dumping oil and non burned gases in your Snail, this will be desribed on an 03 evo 8 but will work the same on many applications
1. simply remove the old hose off your cam cover that will be located on the far right outer edge
2. follow the hose down to see where it comects to you intake which will be not far from your Snail inlet. If you already have an intake on your vehicle it will make it easier
3. Now that you know both places you removed the hose take your oil catch can (brand should not matter) that should have 2 pieces of hose or one long one where you can cut to fit in the kit, now attach one on each end of the tank
4. fiqure out where it would best fit in your engine bay(i have the weapon R so it fits very nicely in my strut tower bar *evo specific*) and mount your catch can *aka tank* securley
5. Then run one side of your hose to the cam cover and one to the intake, clamps on both and your done
Check it now and then so it does'nt fill up. Some have sight gauges on them but in my experience they take a bit to fill up very much, and when they do i would say most all of them have a drain plug on them for easy access without removing the tank |
