I was just wondering whether people of different countries, more specifically third world if whether or not they see through the lens of double consciousness? Consider places like Ireland and New Zealand, China.
I myself think double- consciousness is an American phenomenon. Of course there have been racism in other parts of the world but I am just not sure of whether people in those other parts of the world saw through the lens of double consciousness.
