Police: Wal-Mart Worker Beat Boss with Bat
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- Police in New Haven have accused a Wal-Mart worker of beating an assistant manager in a store aisle with an aluminum baseball bat after getting reprimanded for the second time in a few days.
Officer Joseph Avery said Tuesday that police are still looking for 26-year-old Barry Griffin. They plan to charge him with first-degree assault and breach of peace.
Avery says Griffin grabbed the bat off a shelf and hit 29-year-old assistant manager George Freibott of Seymour nearly a dozen times at about midnight Monday, after Freibott wrote Griffin up for poor job performance.
Avery says Freibott suffered a possible broken arm and many bruises.
Police say the store was closed to shoppers at the time.

I was a manager in a fast food place. I had an employee try that shit. He got fucked up.
George Freibot shouldn't have been afraid to beat someone within an inch of their life sometimes that's how you teach the useless cunts of society a lesson. |
