I finally decided on a model (the iMac), and a new automated mixer/interface to go with it.

I'll be making the purchase within the week... as soon as I know for sure that I have an available table to put it on.

I'm so fucking excited... now I have to find a place that can repair a few of my synths.

No.. it's different from Windows to be sure.  But I really like the Mac and once I got used to the UI shift I couldn't be happier.

That said, some of my software is only one Windows so I still run XP *within* OSX.
