I think 54 takes of "Dirty Livin'" are proof enough to reckon with Old-Flabby-Arms' artistic skills.

I have like 15 takes of "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow" by the Beach Boys, the raw tapes from 1966 (as well as most of the rest of the raw SMiLE master tapes).
Somehow, I don't think listening to 49 takes of "Sure Know Something" and 54 of "Dirty Livin'" will have the same impact.
I'm mildly curious, tho... anyone wanna dare me to upload, and listen to, these discs? _________________

Just downloaded part 1.
If I don't show up tomorrow, it's because listening to 17 takes of "Sure Know Something" finally pushed me over the top and I threw myself into a hay-baler. _________________

Just recycle yourself, like this guy did......
A warehouse worker has died after getting entangled in a cardboard recycling shredder in Los Angeles.
Fire Department spokesman Devin Gales says paramedics found the man's body still stuck in the machine when they arrived.
The cause of the accident is under investigation and the man's name has not been released. The incident occurred yesterday morning. _________________

Even better!
GREENjayclay
So I'm listening to the first disc.
It's a compilation of Kiss demos... "The Lost Solo Treasures". No "Sure Know Something" to be found on it.
What a disappointment! _________________

Already got those.
Quick reviews:
1. (00:04:24) Kiss - When two hearts collide (Unreleased LP track) Forgettable Asylum-era throwaway
2. (00:03:39) Kiss - Don't Let Go (Unreleased LP track) So forgettable, I've... uh... forgotten it
3. (00:04:05) Kiss - Hide your heart (Unreleased LP track) Meh
4. (00:04:11) Kiss - Best man for you (Unreleased LP track) Paul still hasn't found the best man for him
5. (00:04:34) Kiss - Time traveler (Unreleased LP track) Awful 80's shit
6. (00:04:17) Kiss - Hide your heart (Acoustic version '90) Crap
7. (00:03:29) Kiss - Rock to be rocked (Demo '85) Ace demo - still better than anything on Kiss album 2009 - FACT
8. (00:04:53) Kiss - Back into my arms (Demo '85) Don't remember
9. (00:03:21) Kiss - The girl can't dance (Demo '85) Embarrassing Ace demo
10. (00:04:32) Kiss - It's gonna be allright (Demo '78 ) No it's not
11. (00:03:46) Kiss - Love come to me (Demo '78 ) Pass
12. (00:02:51) Kiss - Ring ding do (Demo '68 ) NOT Gene Simmons, but a rockabilly embarrassment called "Jumping" Gene Simmons. Clearly not the Kiss Gene, cause that one is way too fat to jump without a crane.
13. (00:03:31) Kiss - There's nothing better (Demo '80) Peter demo. No comment
14. (00:04:49) Kiss - Rumble (Demo '80) Ditto
15. (00:03:47) Kiss - Out of control (Demo '80) Not much different from the album track
16. (00:02:26) Kiss - Beck (Demo '70) Not bad. Essential Kisstory
17. (00:02:38 ) Kiss - Beth (Acoustic version '77) Huh? _________________

OK, the second file was "Sure Know Something"... but it was only a single file which is only 12 minutes long.

OK, got it sorted out.
I'll download and listen to as much as I can stand.
I know, I know, I almost feel like I should call up Jeff Tremaine and get the "Jackass" cameras rolling here before I begin. _________________

I listened to about.... 45 minutes? An hour? Of these sessions, and folks-- it ain't like listening to all the various wildly-different takes of "Strawberry Fields Forever" (which, incidentally, if you haven't heard all the versions, go look for it-- they're very, very different from one another, and if you're a fan of the song it's fascinating).
This is the REHEARSALS for the album. As in, you can overhear Paul explaining the arrangement and which keys to play, etc. Mildly interesting if you're a musician who's hopelessly obsessed with the process of making shitty music.
I finally turned it off, bragging rights be damned. _________________

it's a pretty decent song, but I thought it was Rock Or Be Rocked - then again the version I heard was kind of cloudy. And if you listen closely, you can hear him say "suck my dick". FACT! _________________
